What do I need to do to get my piano recordings to sound more like this?

So i want to start making beats, and adding my own lyrics to them. Being 100% Independent.

My own producer, and lyricist. Atleast in the start of my "Career"

I am doing nothing now. Recently realised music is my passion.

I need help fixing these audio files. They were recorded at 48khz, 24bit through a Focusrite liquid 56 interface. The ASIO buffer was set at 96.

This has never been an issue before and I was monitoring direct (not through the DAW) so there was no apparent distortion. There are 4, 20-25 minute podcasts. 2 microphones in the same room.

Hello folks, quick question I hope:
I'm putting together a modest PA for our 4 piece group.We have bass+guits-own amps miked at times or DI, light keys-Roland thru PA only, 4vox, sml/med venues. I want it compact and light in weight for lugging.

A new summing experiment.

Can I:

DA > pre-amp (Millennia M-2b yummy) AD mixdown to my capture DAW. (Prism Atlas line in).
Can I cook anything trying this?

Can you believe this, they say the youth, their audience wants more variety so they are chopping the songs to a minute thirty to fit the beat of their spin. Is radio turning into a night club DJ with ads? They use a third party chopper to trim the songs. The artist still gets paid (counted) but you are pro rated lol!

H! I'm thinking of upgrading some hardware. Those of you who have monster DAW PCs, tell us what the specs are.

Recently my Shure srh940 broke and I've started to look up some new headphones to mix and master with in my home studio.
I've decided to go with the AKG k702 but I saw that a lot of people said they need a good amplifier with them to really use them to they're full potential.

I got my RODE NT-1 today. I opened up the box, read the manual and properly set it up (meaning that I connected an XLR cable to my Alesis io4 interface into GarageBand on a MacBook). It didn't seem to work so I cranked the gain to 11. The signal was barely detected.

I then tried the same setup with a different interface and had the same result.

I'm watching CNN and wondering why we all can't live and let live. What a mad world. How does it all keep going day to day.
