Behringer C-1 White Noise Problem

Hi! I've recently bought a Behringer C-1 and a Behringer UM2 Usb interface. Today, I've noticed that there is a white noise in the background of my recording. I've tried, like said in other threads, to change the USB port of the interface, change the cable, and I've also tried recording away from the PC. But the noise didn't go away. Any solution?

Hi-Z Input

When using an Amp simulator in Sonar x3, I have switched the Hi-Z input on my Roland Quad Capture to on, and plugged my electric guitar into said input.
When Micing my amp, I have switched the Hi-Z input to off.
I want to try and use the Emulated Line Out on my amp (Marshall MG 50DFX), to plug into the Hi-Z on my Quad Capture, instead of an Amp simulator.

Recording a TOY piano...seriously

I've read many threads about best practices when recording grand and upright pianos but my client next week is a musical cast which involves a toy piano on some songs. Ya know, the kind you buy a kid to dink around on? I didn't see anything in here specific to TOY pianos and wanted to ask if anyone had some experience with it.

Sennheiser ME66 Popping During Takes

Hey everyone,

So I recently ran into a serious issue while on a location shoot.

I've never had any signal issues with any of my mics before, but for some reason, I've been getting a strange, periodic popping sound on my ME66. I have it plugged into channel one of my Tascam DR-680 and the other channels are usually taken up by my Sennheiser G3s.

Here, There and Everywhere

So, I recently saw Paul McCartney live and wept through much of the show. Yes, actual weeping. He closed with the second half of Abbey Road, and I couldn't handle it. Needless to say this has renewed my interest in his work. Anyway, a week ago a coworker who is an audio guy recommended Geoff Emerick's book Here, There and Everywhere.
