I've converted some of my Digital performer mixes to mp3 in itunes and I want to post them to a web site- the problem is that I haven't been able to locate the physical mp3 files in my hard drive- I know that itunes keeps them somewhere- any one knows where the itunes folder is kept in the mac? Sounds like a stupid question and probably is but I've been looking. :eek:

I'm sending my first completely home studio tracks into be professionally mastered this week, and I found discovered the most frustrating discovery: the rendered out tracks sound a great deal better than the original playback of the songs within Nuendo.

I had a crushed on a hard drive and I need to recover the DATA does any one has a recommendation? Its a MAC.

What type of hardrive is better to use more audio tracks?
If you think of any PCI hard drive accelerator card and you want to use a UAD-1 or a powercore would it load CPU performance.
Now when it comes down to which of the pasts is better let us know what your experience is.

Help me sort out my wordclock-situation. The gear:

- G4 Mac
- RME Digi9652 soundcard (3*ADAT I/O, S/PDIF I/O, wordclock I/O)
- Apogee Rosetta 24/96 AD
- Apogee DA16 24/96 DA
- Lucid ADA1000

This seems to be a strange topic in that it has many varying opinions amongst professionals. Anyone here have any specific experience with mixing on a DAW compared to mixing on a DAW using an external summing bus? Like Dangerous 2-Bus or Folcrum?

I'm giving serious thoughts to the DM2000 as the choice of digital mixer for our studio.

however, the one thing that's of concern is the quality of pres on the board. we're also going to be doing some work in surround. (probably with Dynaudio Air series monitors)

can i bank on the pres and ADs of the Yamaha?
