I tried asking this somwhere else, but Im not getting an answer, so Ill try here.

I am looking for a hardware midi mixer with which I can quickly change the midi channel my keyboard transmits from and also the midi channel my software (Garritan Personal Orchestra and Cubase SX) recieves on.It should also have a few effect contols such as modulation wheel which my keyboard does not have and reverb depth etc.

If anyone wins the lottery, please send me one for/as an Easter Gift

Hello digital hardware people. .I have 3 MAudio Delta 1010 A/D/A's (24 channels total of analog I/O) and I'm having a problem getting them to play nice together. I'm thinking this is a clocking issue. The 1st box is running on it's internal xtal and the other 2 boxes are SUPPOSED to be slaves. .using the master clock of the 1st box through SPDIF connections.

how do I add outboard reverb and compression AFTER tracking?

The other day I was visiting a studio and I noticed that the PT session was synced to the analog tape, but the SMTE number was many minutes past 0:00:00. The guy at the studio did not use any SMPTE offset. My question is this: If the session starts at 0:00:00 is he wasting a bunch of disk space by running his sessions in that way?

a few months back i replied to a thread about making tracks fuller. a moderator from this forum responded with the statement that he was surprised that i was not getting phase problems.

Look on this site and check the features of these comps. I know mark told me that a sis chip is horrible for music production. Well I would love to get one of these comps. but I don't want to run into any trouble in the future. The price range of $600-850 hopefully.

Hi, I am new on this forum of mastering.

I am recording a classical guitar trhough my RODE nt1000 and Mackie mixer to Pc (I know it is not the best but...) and find that the same recording mastered at 94 % sounds much better than mastered at 100 %, could that be posible that it sounds like compressed?. Thank you for any information you could give me.

I am having some problem with my kick drum somtimes when i hit one there are two or three sound coming out,i am using the pad with Alesis D4 DRUM MODULE.thanks
