Is there a way to have the computer reconize the internal HD on the MPC without it going through the freeze's and other abnormalities? I want to save and retrieve files from the computer to the MPC. I currently have an adaptec U160 scsi card & a fujitsu 33.6 scsi HD in my setup.

What's the deal with Hammond Organs in general and the B3 in particular. Why are they revered as they are? What's the difference between the B3 and the M3. If you had an opportunity to pick up either at a good price, would you? Why?

I ask because I've been hearing a lot about these lately and I'm just wondering what's up with'em.

A while ago there was a post dealing with RAM on a P4PE board. Someone (probably Opus) said that you can only use the 3rd memory slot if the 2nd one doesn't use double-sided RAM. My question is is "double-sided" RAM the same as DDR RAM (double data rate)?

due to limited space aviliable, my near field Alesis speakers are very closed to the computer monitor,so what is the cheapest way to stop the magnetic field of the speakers affecting my monitor? will a lead sheet work ?

Hi, what a great group! I'm considering a Focusrite 428 Pre pack because it looks like the most useful front end preamp to bypass my digi001 preamp and converters. (via ADAT) I like the Focusrite sound tho I don't have too much to compare it to. At about 2K is there something else I ought to be looking at? This is my first "bigger" preamp purchase so i want to invest. :w:
