An enigma wrapped in a mystery! Any thoughts?

(I've posted this on a couple of other forums in the hope that this minor annoyance could be solved - but to no avail, so I thought I'd beg your indulgence in the hope someone may come up with a solution).

MOTU 828mkII
Forums
Howdy,
Just saw a post about the new Rev 828 on the Unicornation site. Looks pretty damned cool if you ask me.
I guess there's an ad for it on the back of the new Electronic Musician. Someone posted this link too: http://www.samedaymusic.com/product--MTU828MKII.

Bad Kitty!
Forums
Just sent Jaguar to the big litter box in the sky. The Finder kept randomly restarting and my system in general was running pretty slow.
Wrote zeros to the drive and gave it a nice fresh install of 9.2.2. Ahhhh. This is the way a mac (at least MY mac) should behave.

Adding A 2nd Display Monitor w G4/Logic 6
Forums
I have a G4/933Mhz and 2 17" LCD displays. I plan on running Logic 6. What do I need to get the second display up and running? (Leave it to me to get a 2nd display before I even have the Logic software)
Anyway, thanks for the info

Hi friends!
I confess that I have never been into similar situation but I would like to ask you.
The band records, edit, mix and master with you. You provide them your DAw back CD-Rs where most of the recording sessions are properly labled, edited and compacted.
Arp Odyssey
Forums
I picked up an Arp Odyssey at an auction a while back for a good price. I spent about 50Cad. getting it up and running with an electrician. My next obsticle is figuring out who may be able to stop from strickly squeeling when I depress the keys. I use it strickly for sampling whacked out sounds that exit it endlessly.

Are We Witnessing The Death Throes Of The Commercial Stu
Forums
Do all of you think that the commercial studio as we now know it will survive? What can those of us who have commercial studios do to keep the lights on? I personally think that we are witnessing a metamorphosis of the business with most pop music production moving into personal studios.
Noisy amps
Forums
I'm recording a marshall stack with a decent condensor mic direct into a edirol sound card. Sounds great, except for the obnoxious constant fuzz coming from the dang amp.
Any ideas for reducing the fuzz noise from semi-noisy to noisy amps when recording?

Shortcut to Linux audio?
Forums
I just had the oputunity to check out the AGNULA (A GNU/Linux Audio distribution) release 1.0 for RedHat 8.0. The install was very straight forward, and worked well. I just did a fresh install of RedHat Linux 8.0 (including all packages). Then copied all the AGNULA files to a directory and ran the install.sh script.
