I can only get one side of audio out of this set up. I've read the books over and over, and it still doesn't work right.

I'm only getting one channel out of my audio.

A good example of the problem-
playing back a midi file through a VST instrument will not pan to the left. Just silence on that side.

Ok, so this new singer calls me up and says that he loves my mixes of the instruments (of the live 20+ pc jazz orchestra recordings), but that I have problems with the vocals.

Legato headroom on long bottom notes.

Fast, no pain.

Balls good, not punchy balls (IOC lights come on quick) but legato balls out the ass.

I finally picked up a UAD-1
I am using it with FXspansion's 4.2 beta VST adapter
Using it under wavelab using the wrapper, no problem works great
Using it in sound forge i get some weird problems.
Mainly when I load a second plug, it will say something like "this plugin could not load, expected buffer size is 512 buffer is 2408"

Opus.. or if anyone else knows anything about this:
I've built my DAW... and everything seemed to be ok... but now it's like this:
When I start up the computer the start-up screen tells me "Secondary master: None".
And when I'm in windows and click on "My Computer" it only shows the OS-drive (no audiodrive)

I've finally got a home studio pretty completed (mics, equipment, software, computer) and am about ready to start laying down tracks.
I am probably going to be doing acoustic-rock type stuff, with some blues or funk leanings as inspiration strikes .
