Any good books, videos, resources?
I dunno where to go. There's one professional i'm going to contact to try to trade gear schlepping for observation, but as far as self learning goes, i've reached clueless.

Synchronizing Input Samples with Output Samples for Testing Analog Circuits
I would like to analyze analog circuits by sending a stimulus through it and then recording the output, changing the circuit slightly and then running the test again to produce two *almost* identical .wav files that can then be compared sample-for-sample.
Problem with my setup.
EDIT: I solved it myself after 4 months of this BS. If anybody else has this problem it's annoyingly easy to fix. Simply go into Mixcraft and click "Sound Device", then tick the box that says "Use High Priority Threads for Audio Engine". It solved both the guitar latency and the weird rotary effect.

I've got Pro Tools HD Native with an Omni and a HD i/0,running on a Mac Pro 4.1 with OSX 10.8,and I need something USB that will communicate, and be recognized by a Mac so that I can use some of my older MIDI gear.I've got a Roland PCR-800 with USB,but no matter what I try,the Mac doesn't recognize it.It does not show up in my USB profile.
Thanks Rick

Choice of addon pre via ADAT to a Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56
Hi Guys, Following my purchase of a Focusrite ISA 2 Preamp unit, I decide to upgrade my 4 m-audio delta cards. I went with the Saffire 56, seemed a good choice with good reviews. The Preamps quality is honest and for the small tests I did, the converter seemed better than the delta cards.
So the question : I'm used to have 16 inputs, what can I get to upgrade the Saffire 56.
Help!
Hi there! I'm new to all this so god help me I'll make some mistakes. BUT I've recently took an Interest In FRouE music. (NOTE : FRouE stands for Funk. Rock. House. Experimental electronic music.). But my question is I don't know what kind of gear I should buy! I've conflicted with launchpads and Controllers but I don't know which one is best for a newcomer. Can anyone help me with this?
