[Newbie!] To make it sound like...

Hey there everyone!

Thank you for taking time to read this. Here's the situation. I want to have this quality of sound for my videos:

All the equipment in the video, except for the Mac Desktop(I have a Macbook Pro) I own and use. The equipment is as follows:

Need advice on quick editing tool for mac

Hey guys, how u doin`? I`ve been working since last month, with Mayor elections around here. I edit and make the sound design for a specific candidate, and it`s all going to TV etc.

Since I record mainly bands, I use PT9, which is wonderful for my music recording needs. However, I see it doesn`t work for fast broadcast editing.

Hello folks, looking for some general information.

I'm quite new to the whole audio engineering world. I've been in studios, I've watched people work on audio tracks, and I've always had a desire to start recording music on my own. Since day 1 I've had the general problem of money, I can't afford the highly priced equipment that many professional studios use.

Optimal room shape / New wall angles?

I'm redoing my basement studio to create a better recording environment and am wondering if changing the shape of the room as I design the inner leaf walls would be smart. The room dimensions are 21L x 14W x 7.5H. The other option is to keep the wall angels as they are and use wall treatment and bass traps. Thoughts?

Unable to record - fuzz

Hi. I'm trying to record my acoustic guitar through my Shure SM81 mic, to my USB Dual Pre, to my computer. I've tried Audacity and cubase, same stuff. When I press play, I get a lot of fuzzy feedback, can't hear guitar. If I turn up the gain REALLY high, I can hear the instrument a tiny bit. I don't know a lot about recording, so I have no idea what the issue could be.
