increase output channels using ADAT

Hey guys,

In a situation where a sound card has minimal outputs. Can you use an ADAT device to add to the number of available outputs to go into a multi-channel summing mixer? I didnt think this was possible but was told otherwise..

Equipment I'm using is Lynx Two 4 i/o and Lynx ADAT card. Would something like a Behringer ADA8000 allow me to output the ADAT channels?

Audio Level Troubles?

I recorded an hour-long podcast featuring two people speaking (each person is recorded onto a separate track, if it makes a difference) and the levels are all out of whack - sometimes people are shouting, other times people are speaking at barely above a whisper. Is there any sort of software out there that will equalize the audio levels so that it is one consistent block of audio?

IRCAM TOOLS need help

I am testing out the IRCAM TOOLS a bit.
Without reading the doc, I tried to explore the IRCAM VERB and I was surprised to find I couldn't adjust any sliders or dials to play around with the controls.
Is this normal?
Just by luck, I clicked on the "recall" button and got a pop-up with a selection of presets I could audition.

Transmitting Midi Clock data in Reason Essentials to Alesis SR16 drum machine

I want to transmit midi clock data to my SR16 drum machine so that when i hit record on the transport control and get a 2 bar count in my drum machine
kicks in on time after the 2 bar count so i can record it.

I can do this in Pro Tools easy, but am really struggling for some reason in reason essentials.

Please help!

Correcting audio sampled with the wrong clock

I have audio that was sampled at 44.1 but the ext clock was set to 48k. Obviously now I need a way to change the file definitions to 48k so I can mix it at speed. Normally I would use 2 DAWs, set one to each sample rate, clock them together and digitally transfer. However I dont have two systems any more. Just my one PT rig. Is there any way to get at the definitions and simply change them?
