Here is the deal, I am picking up a very nice 8516b on monday, the rest of my set up is saffire pro 40, digimax fs, la 610 in to pro tools, 2-bus lt and monitor st on the other end.

I recently purchased a Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 and I've been having some issues with it. I have a late 2007 MacBook and I use Logic 9. Basically what's happening is that it will randomly stop playing sound. Sometimes all I have to do is unplug it and plug it back in and that will fix the problem. Other times that won't help and it will just randomly start working again.

Has anyone tried the Mac mini for recording yet? This thing looks pretty awesome for a mobile recording rig.

Is there anything available for an ADAT input for laptops? I'm wanting to use my Lavry AD10 without my fireface 800 (selling it). ADAT direct into my PC would be so excellent. Is there anything available?

ok i am using fl studio to record my guitar and bass. the problem is when i record the guitar in edison recorder it sounds fine. i past it in the play list so i can record the bass guitar while the guitar track is playing. while the guitar track is playing back and i am playing bass the quality of the sound drops significantly. why?
