I'm getting ready to record a classical guitarist in my studio. There will be no other instruments; only his guitar. I'm thinking I may record him in mono, and just wondered what you more experienced folks think about that... I've got three decent mics: two AKG C1000s and a RODE NT1-A.

2 simple questions

Thought I'd share some DIY Projects I've designed and built.
First photo is from my home studio: I designed and built the 24-space rack, the Workstation/Desk, the 8-inch deep acoustic panels behind the desk and the supports for the 3 Owens-Corning 703 Acoustic Panels (I bought the Panels "Raw" from ATS Acoustics then covered them).

While I am typically able to troubleshoot my own technology problems, I am at a loss here. I have been recording for a couple of months, and I have a PreSonus Audiobox USB connected to my MacBook with Logic and a CAD M179 condenser microphone.

Money is an issue,and I don't have 45 dollars for each song,however I would like to get as much music in to protect myself,however when you want to sell a song how do you sell one song if you have them all under one title?

He had a pair of the Rokit10-3's to demo, and since I was down arranging for a mastering session for the new Franco And The Stingers song thats going on a compilation record for the Cascade Blues Association, I got to hear my new mix on these speaks.
