Don't ever buy wireless headphones for music composing

Don't ever buy wireless headphones for music composing.
I wanted to cut the cord and get some headphones that didn't hurt my ears after 15 minutes or so. Also thought it would be nice to jam on some bass to songs without the corded headphones. So I bought these PowerBeats3 wireless headphones. Bad mistake! One word: Latency!

Cubase worth the upgrade?

Steinberg are doing off 50% for Cubase 10. I'm currently using 8.5 Artist and I love it but I'm unsure what benefits I will get from upgrading to Cubase 10 Artist? Better latency? Better layout? I'll be honest, I don't think I could justify Cubase 10 Pro because I've managed with Artist for so long without no restrictions. But what could I expect moving from 8.5 Artist to 10 Artist?

1st gen Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 in 2019?

With 1st Gen 18i8’s at giveaway prices and talks of the 3rd gen soon, is it still ok to get one in 2019? I’ll be doing stereo mic setup music college acoustic recitals later this year with my 2012 MacBook pro 15”, RODE nt55s, on mojave and Logic pro x at 24/96. I want to run 4 mics with simultenaous spaced omnis and ORTF setups.

Affordable ADAT to Headphones unit ?

Hi gang !
I'm aiming in all directions with my current headphone amps for the artists.
I do have a Behringer Powerplay Pro-XL HA4700 but it's design makes it receive only one stereo signal and/or 4 analog. I currently use my old (preamp defective) Focusrite Liquid saffire 56 via ADAT for 2 more headphone amps and I keep my RME FF800 headphone out for me..

Avid Omni as Windows audio device

I have an Avid Omni connected to a Windows 10 computer via a Digilink card. I have a Digilink license. It works fine with Pro Tools 2018.

I have a situation where I temporarily need the Omni to work as a regular Widows audio device so I can use it without using Pro Tools. I have heard that this is definitely possible but I can't figure out how to do it.
