32 bit integer for interface, useful?
Forums
The new Steinberg interface supports 32 bit integer recording. I am curious if this can be expected to be a bit improvement over 24 bit. Im an the market for a higher end interface to transfer a ton of old tapes and records, as well as record and mix new stuff.

Ryzen 3000 series closes performance gap with Intel
Forums
With its latest release, AMD has closed the performance gap with Intel. The differences apples to apples (core for core) are negligible now.
This means Intel will have to drop prices to stay competitive, and AMD Ryzen is now not only a no compromise option in performance, its a clear winner in performance per dollar.
Recording a Yamaha C3E Grand Piano
Forums
My audio interface is Sound Devices Mix Pre 6 and it records straight to SD. I want to record my Yamaha C3E grand piano in a way that I won't ever need to go to a studio. I currently use Zoom H2n. I want to record 4-8 hours per day. Solo, duets, four hands etc. I have a list of microphones in matched pairs (many of them are stereo too). Which one will give me super professional results?

USB, AES/EBU,HDMI together?
Forums
I need to run at least 2 boosted USB, 2- 8Channel AES and a DVI-D (or possibly an HDMI instead) cables together in about 30-35' of PVC.
Will this create issues like crosstalk, inductance, speed reduction, clicks, clocking issues, bandwidth reduction, RF and other things I may not be aware of?
USB: 1. Houston Controller to/fro MAC
2. Pure 2 ADDA to/fro PC

Can you copyright a title or a word?
Forums
I don't want to spend too much time explaining things so I will keep it short. I've had youtube for around 12 years and posted up improvised solo's over backing tracks and really raw acoustic tracks of my original songs just for copyright and backup (never really tried to push YouTube fame).

Monitoring Overdubs and Choice of Audio Interface
Forums
I am getting ready to buy my first audio interface. With no digital recording experience, I need some advice on monitoring overdubs. I had been looking at the Focusrite Clarett 2Pre Thunderbolt audio interface (connected to my HP Spectre x360 with Thunderbolt 3) because it has especially low latency in hopes that I would be able to monitor my live overdub tracks via the DAW.
Issue with altered audio output in Cubase 9.5
Forums
Hi there everyone, I just got a new computer and redownloaded my Cubase 9.5 on it. I am having an issue where if I export a file or send the audio output through a speaker, it alters the pitch and tempo of the audio file. Any idea why this might be happening? Thank you!
Issues with recording my piano
Forums
I'm a guitar player and recently got into piano. I got a Yamaha P-45 and, since I record instrumental tracks with guitar and bass, I tried to record my piano, but I ran into some issues. First I tried connecting my piano to my guitar amp which with my guitar cable and was able to record it (obviously the sound wasn't great as it's a guitar amp and not meant for any other instruments).
