Hmm, this is a brain teaser. I've performed this same test/comparison previously and I heard much more difference between the clips, but the results were less studio worthy so I decided to repeat the test. This time I don't really hear any discernible difference and I know what I am looking for. I'm trying to figure out if my ears are fatigued or if the perceived difference was just that.

I work with a lot of Musicians that have never recorded before. Some of them get to the studio and look at us like a dear in the headlights. Usually I try to give them a few things they should do before the session to be prepared. I was wondering what other people who record first timers do to prep the musician. Do you sent them an email with tips? If so, what are those tips?

I ust bought a par of KRK ST6's... I really need to buy an amp. Unfortunatly, i want to stay below $300..
I know there cheap speakers...Is it worth spending a ton on a amp?
