It sounds like its an underwater effect i don't know someone got any tips how to achive that sound?

Im am looking at building a recording studio but I need help in knowing all the components I need to get that pro like sound. Right now all i have is a Behringer B-1 witch is a condenser mic, and i have a PreSonus 1394 firewire. I was wondering what else I need besides a computer to get that good sound, Like what kind of mixer to get or preamp ? any help will do, thanks alot.

I just recently upgraded my front end from a Mackie VLZPro to a Ramsa WR S4424 (primarily for the convenience of the direct outs on all channels, although the improved mic preamps didn't hurt a bit)

I'm trying to create a song entirely out of mellotron-samples, but every time I use the scissor tool on a sample to cut it down, I get a "knit"-sound, like you do on old vinyl records when they're spinning. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Rather than doing something like this example (CBI 16 X 4 Audio Snake) what other options for long runs for Micing drums? I'm guessing cat5/ 6 cable to a digital setup, yes?

What are all the pro and cons and options for patchbays?
Is it better to have 2 smaller ones than one big one?

Has anybody used Pro Tools with Win 7?

I've been trying to find out if these plugins will work but the websites are vague at best.
