I want to start a record label however I need to know how to launch it and all the in and outs of it. I know a lot about music business i just want multiple opinions on how to run a label

My band is planning on recording soon (sunny day, far, jimmy eat world style) and we were checking out our local studio and they have this video on their site of all this great looking stuff, but it's a bit vague and I was hoping someone could tell me a little more about some of this stuff?

I have a home studio on a budget. I have been semi successful with my current setup. I plane on getting a new A&H firewire board which should help increase quality/fidelity of sound.

Anyway - I currently have a pair of Alesis M1 620's plus a M-Audio BX-10s sub that I mix with. I refrence my setup, before I mix to make sure it's still "right" using commercial songs.

Has anyone used either of these? I'm wanting to use one of these with window XP to trigger BFD 2 along side with Samplitude/Sequoia 11. I see on the LCD "Cubase LE". Drum controllers are new to me so I'm also wondering if you need specific software for the DAW used with it?

I have, and use, a PreSonus StudioLive 16.4.2. I have been trying to set up my laptop to record bands live, however things just are not working correctly. I am using a Dell Inspiron E1505, PreSonus Capture Live Recording Software, with the StudioLive.

First off, I know I should be using a Mac. I will be getting a Mac in the near future.

I bougt BX10 to use with my BX5a monitors... It has Variable 50-200Hz crossover. Can anybody tell me what it is and how to set it up?
I mean i know what it is but is there "best" way to set it?

hi guys, i recently purchased a Lynx Two A sound card and SCA preamps. I am looking to record some guitars using Guitar Rig, but just wanting to know what cable i should be looking at to achieve the best signal.

Problem i am having is that the all of the inputs (whether it be the Lynx Card or SCA pres) are XLR.
