Switch box suggestions
Forums
I recently started interning at the Iguana Recording studio in Toronto and among their equipment they have a Radial JD7 Injector switch box which so far I've seen hooked up to 4 amps although I know it's capable of 7. I'm looking for something similar in a reasonable price range for doing recording work at home.

Room for recording
Forums
My upstairs bedroom is 11x12 with a bunch of stuff in it. Good for recording vocals. Ish. I am wondering if it is better to bring my amp downstairs for recording though. My basement is cement floors and walls with wood ceilings and mostly unfurnished. No walls or doors or anything. Would the openness of the basement make my amp sound better when cranked up?

Roland Jupiter 8V by Arturia
Forums
Arturia's Jupiter 8V is by far overall the best analog synth plug I have heard. If any of you have heard a better analog synth plugin please let everyone know your thoughts.
You can go to the Arturia website and obtain a free trial plug and see if you like it.

Wireless/DTV
Forums
OK so with the DTV switchover (heard about it on the news), how are you guys doing with wireless mics?
Not that I know much but are you finding it easier or harder to find operational frequencies and get noise floors down?
We still have analog TV in this country, although some places have swapped. Maybe we have and reclusive me failed to notice...

Hello all.
I'm quite new here, nice to meet you all! :D
I require a little sage advice; I am about to co write some songs and I have some old co written material [with massive commercial potential  ] do you know of anywhere i can find an example of a good cowriting contract that stipulates a royalty split, or where i can find some templates to build upon?

What do Use your Sm7B for?
Forums
I just picked up a SM7B this weekend. I had never used one before.
I was a bit shocked by how smooth it was.
It produced a decent vocal sound even when compared to my U87.
Anyway I tried it on Vocals, ACU GTR and Tabla. It was decent at all but would not be my first choice for any of those. The handling noise is fantastic as is the SPL handling.

Korg TR-88 Patch Reordering
Forums
So I finally bought the professional keyboard (okay, not an OASYS but better than a Yamaha DGX, right?) I've been drooling over for years: The Korg TR-88.
I've been looking through the manuals and playing around with it doing everything I can to figure it out, but I know I'm going to need some help.

in this video are the duvet comforters in the background have a good sound isolation for vocals and what is that clamp thing that attaches to his shockmount?
