Um i need help with this damn Cubase AI4. I finally got it to where the output is going back thru the mixer instead of my speakers, but the input is no where to be found. I did exactly what the instructions said to do... Device setup... click control panel on ASIO directx full duplex driver and than click both of the USB Audio Codec things. The output shows up but there is no input.

So far, my experience with plugins is just okay. They are excellent for ease but not at all what I'm going to base my decision on buying my next DAW.

To the Marshall DSL 100! That amp was my baby. And now they don't make them anymore? There was nothing wrong with that amp. I even liked it better than the TSL 100 because it had less features, which, if you ask me, made it sound purer and chunkier.

Hi Guys, I'm using 3 x MoTU 2408 with Cubase vst5 on a mac g4. I'm having a problem trtansferring a track from my Fostex DAT via the optical connection through my TC finalizer then through sp/dif into the motus and then into Cubase as a stereo master file, which I can cut and export to burn. I'm getting digital glitches on the transfer.

I want to get advises on want to get, to do a home studio (that sounds as good as it can). I use to have one of those ¨all in one¨ 16 tracks recorder. Now I'm going to get a iMac but i'm not sure which software nor interface to use. Protools, Cubase, Logic, Digidesign, M-audio, Tascam?

Does anyone know when there might be professional reviews on sites like Cnet, PC mag or wherever, for the new Mac Pro. They have reviewed the iMac, Mac Mini, but haven't done the Mac Pro.

if you have the track level too high during tracking it might redline yes? So does this work the opposite also? i.e. if you record it too low it will be weak or noisy. And/or does it really matter. I am confused because I remember hearing somebody say that when the DAW redlines it isn't actually clipping but letting you know that when you bounce the track it will clip.
