Trying to make a very cheap, rather small isolation booth.
I honestly have one of the worst acoustic environments you could have in my room...10 guitars hanging on a single wall. There's a futon, curtains and such, but nothing that really reduces flutter and echo. Terribly for trying to record trumpet, loud guitar, really, anything.

Soundproofing advice
Hi,
I wonder could somebody please offer some soundproofing advice. I have just moved home and have a podcasting set up in my 'office'. The room is about 8'x8' with not a great deal of furniture in it.
I have a desk, studio monitors, mixing desk with two mics and the computer.

Advice on studio sound proofing
Hi,
I’ve recently been looking into soundproofing solutions for our recording studio and was wondering if anyone has any tips on the best materials to use.
The options so far seem to be acoustic board, or honeycomb foam. The foam is quite cheap on eBay, but is it any good?

A Portable Soundproofing Idea - Need Opinions.
Hi there
This could have been posted on the Studio Construction board but it relates more to home studio stuff I guess.
Some questions about my "basement studio"
I have been recording for a few years now using the same stuff. The stuff I use is probably quite pathetic but my parents won't let me record more "professionally" until I head off to college. I have been using a computer microphone (which actually sounds pretty clear) to record everything: singing, guitars, etc.

Building a Recording Studio
Hi, I'll be building a 12' x 20' studio. Concrete slab, with cathedral ceiling of about 13' height in the center, about 9' at the sides. I'm in the planning phase (hope to begin construction in June 2008), and I have a few questions I'm hoping you guys can help me with:

Recording booth to sound-proof exterior noise
Hey everyone!
Acoustic treatment
Well I was not very happy with the way my vocals were recording. I thought about it and decided to do more acoustic treatment. Since my recording studio is my bedroom I was originally going to keep it to a minimum.
I realized quickly I had to change my original plan. I treated my room with a lot of the auralex foam squares.
