Vocal chain help and advice
The last text I wrote,my problem was clipping in my mixer. I found out the problem and now I need advice on my vocal chain for the future. Moonbaby post this
I
just have to say that taking a Grace and plugging it into the mixer is a bit like putting a Masseratti engine into a Fiat (the French tried that once and called it a Citroen).

Can't eliminate vocal buzzing
I've recorded our lead singer several times over the last month, trying to eliminate a "buzzing" sound. The buzz is only present when the track is exported to a wav file, then dropped on a CD for playback. I've recorded other voices and they don't "buzz" when dropped to a CD. I've tried adjusting the gain, different mics, different effects & settings, no effects. nothing helps.

Recording hip hop vocals
What is a really good way to layout vocals?
Example: lead vocal in mono and record backups in stereo.
record two mono and then pan left and right
or use plugins that move your vocals all over the place to give that surround sound feel.
Basically any tips or tricks?

Vocal booth problem!
Ok I just finishing off my new studio build and about to get her up and running. I've floated the floors completely separated both studio and vocal booth! Problem is between the two sliding glass patio doors that connect from one to another which has about 8" of space between the two, I'm getting a nasty reverb in the middle of this area.
