Micing an acoustic guitar

Peterson Strobe tuners

I have a dilemma. I’ve planned on getting a strobe tuner for some time. I’ve used some nice tuners in the past, but I’ve realized that strobe is the way to go for set-up and really all playing in general. The digital strobes are so affordable and portable compared to their 20lb high school band counterparts that I can’t put it off any longer. So I decided I’d get the Peterson VSII.

BR532 SETTINGS?

I have a BOSSBR532 4TRACK and I'm trying to record acoustic with a mic i have a condencer mic with phantom power i was wondering if anybody knows a good setting for recording acoustic with the br532 like do i use compressor or de/esser or what do i set it on like the highs and lows what effect is best?

Rockabilly bass

I've been drafted to record a rockabilly band next month, but I've never recorded a live upright acoustic bass before. I've been shooting ideas around in my head, but haven't figured a good way to mic it. I want to run it in thirds (mic left panned hard left, mic right panned hard right, mic centered perfect stereo) but not sure what mics to use.
