Is this done to avoid reflections (from/off the floor) or to minimize vibrations, say up through the mic stand and into the mic? Or both?

Additionally, is there really a preference as to how high? If for the reflection issue, couldn't you just tilt it back?

Lastly, should a stand that permits the least amount of resonance be chosen...if for vibration?

We got 4 pair of Proficient C620 6.5 Inch Ceiling Speakers (total of 8 speakers) for a very large room.

What is the performance of MC2 audio 1250 power amp compare with chord SPA 1424 - Mono and FM acoustics FM 811 MKII power amp?

Is it suitable for mastering studio ?

ok so for some reason i cannot hear live or playback signal coming into the headphones BUT i when i push the talkback button on my O2R i can hear talkbalk just fine. any idea's of what may be causing this?

I'm not sure of the model #, but the preamps and eq sections are the same as the 1204. I saw one selling on ebay for about 100 times what I payed! My amp is making a very noisy hissing sound during playing and when i'm not playing how ever the hissing stops when i put the amp into standby mode to keep the tubes warm whilst idle..

The amp also makes crackling sounds too.

I have a 6505 combo peavy amp. . what could this sound be?
