Man, I thought I had a handle on this but apparently not.

Using Samplitude, Sonar, Cubase, Logic, Reaper whatever... (shouldn't matter what DAW correct)? what do I need to get 16 channels of I/O to a Dangerious 2-Bus or my SPL MixDream and back into my DAW? ( not concerned with cable) just the converter options for now.

I am not sure if this belongs here… but I have just completed the design on a 8 Channel Headphone Amplifier/ Personal mixer.

I have a Fender Champion 600 5 watt tube amp. I like the low volume clean tones that this amp provides, however the 6" speaker sounds terrible when the volume is turned up and starts to overdrive the tubes. I think the best way to describe the sound is flabby and farty. I'm a big fan of crunchy.

I recently purchased some Sennheiser HD600 phones, but no amp. I am (already) amazed by the clarity of the sound--listening to some recordings of Chaka Khan singing I can actually tell her facial expression by the sound of her voice.

how much power of amp will you ask for it? 500w 8ohm? 750w 8ohm or 1000w 8ohm?

Hi there. I've been recording bass guitar using a bass pod for ages and have grown sick of it! I record big, dirty sounding bass primarily. I'm looking into buying a mid-range amp for my bass, but am wondering - in your experience, is it best to D.I. bass or use an amp? I know this one tends to split people but I'd love some input please!

I rock a PV14 mixer (among other junk) with both stereo and/or mono outs. I currently monitor either through headphones, or occasionally through a pair of 2 little Kustom (i know, go f- yourself) passive monitors powered by a Crate power block amp (hell of deal)...this rig works, but is obviously not giving me a great sound.

sorry if this is a novice question but i have gotten a new amp recently a new marhall mg halfstack. I need to run it through to my Tascam portastudio 2488neo. there is no mixer output on the new amp. i was wondering is it even recomendable to run out from the spare cabinet extension on my head through a di box and straight into my Tascam?

i have a ART HeadAmp4 and I'm trying to use it with a Tascam US1641 pre
I'm not really sure how or what cable i need to use these two together so i can mix with headphones and not with my monitors.

any help?

Its been awhile since I posted here so here goes...

I've known for awhile now that my mixes don't translate well. Usually they sound a bit muffled (lacking upper-mids and highs) when being played on other quality sound systems.
