Got a brand new set of JBL 4410As,and about 500 bucks for an amp.
Any ides on an amp to give me that clean,quiet,transparant,true power to push the JBLs

Im thinking of gettin a pair of AA151and a pair of AA15HL both 400watts at 8 ohms for FOH and a pair of JBLPro JRX112m 250watts at 8ohms for monitors. what power amps do i need to be looking at?

What is the performance of MC2 audio 1250 power amp compare with chord SPA 1424 - Mono and FM acoustics FM 811 MKII power amp?

Is it suitable for mastering studio ?

alright..i am trying to decide the best option for recording my guitar amp.
I have been messing around trying to find a solid sound but I am not sure what type of mic / positioning i need to aI'm for. Let me tell you what I am using and you all can tell me what to do/not to do.

I was looking into getting passive monitors. I would need an amp for them. Does the quality of amp have any effect on the monitors?

This may be a stupid question. I understand where to hook it up on the back of my amp but where do i hook it up to my recorder. Do i put the line directly into either input A or B? I mean instinctively this seems like what i should do but I'm paranoid about hooking up my 100 watt jcm 900 to it out of fear of blowing it up or something.

I have a problem. .my arsely power amp just died (thank god). Now I have a legit reason to buy a nice poweramp. I have a set of "vintage" JBL 4312's. So, for the poweramp I am thinking bryston 2 or 3 B(since I dont need to super loud at all). The problem is that I need to be able to hook a DVD, CD player and whatnot up to it so Im guessing I need a preamp?

I know this a bit off topic, but I didn't know where else to post it. I have been looking at getting a new amp head for a while but I want some of your guys opinions because so far you guys have been a big help. I play metal mostly, and love the tube sound. The three that I have my eye on are

Peavey XXX
Peavey JSX
