Are there any free (or cheap) recording software that support WASAPI ?

So, after using this sound craft mixer for a session or 2 I realized I actually do not need it with my interface, monitor st and cue mix I didn't need it. So I decided to pick up a 512c and lunchbox. Never used api, I choose to go with Daking when I built the last studio, any tips or cements...remy?

but this has made me the $ to finally buy an API 3124+!
my questions:
what compressor(s) would you pair with the API for tracking? the considerations are:
1) $1000 or under (no choice!)
2) at least 2 channels

I would like to build Neve 1073, SSL & API sounding mic preamps and would like to know the best places to get kits or schematics & bills of materials and instructions etc...Please advise and please be gentle I'm new here! lol

I currently own the Portico 5012 dual mic preamp - I do like it a lot but am considering selling it to buy the API R20 Dual mic preamp. With the API I like the idea of having 2 additional high quality DI's plus the reviews on the API seem pretty solid. Just curious if any of you have compared the two or have any thoughts on this?

I have two 2520's and one original Jensen 75101 but In need one more as well as a pair of 2164 or 2503. not sure havent tallied the job and pieces all yet, just started last night. I like the idea of vintage pieces as opposed to new. That might be a mistake and feel free to correct me if I am wrong...Anyway, had a great time racking in the past.

All is in the title.

I have an API rack with power supply module 500PS (the part with the power button on the front side plugged into the 11th slot on the right side). It looks like a 500 series module, but it is dedicated to supply the rack backbone.
The 500PS doesn't provide 48V phatom power supply, but there is each dedicated component place on the PCB.

I know API talks for itself, great gear, have anyone heard about the 5500 dual eq? I just got one, it seems to have a few twicks from the original launchbox version, it's lovely piece of gear
