Converter recommendations

can anyone recommend either individual AD and DA converters that are of the big names (lynx, mytek, lucid, Lavry, genex, DAD, DCS, Prism, benchmark) that are of 192kHz and somewhat cheaper price range (not 3 grand a piece.) either that or mainly can someone tell me an A/D/A converter that is one of those brands and can do simultaneous A/D and D/A conversion?

AD/DA Converter (Do I need one?)

Heres my recording chain:
Mic (several types) to preamp(several types))--preamp to Roland VS800--from VS800 (analog out) to Compressors, eqs, processors etc,, back to another VS880 (analog in) for final mixing etc---out from 880s (5 of them) (analog out) to analog console for maybe more comp and eqing, then to CD burner (analog in)

Is this a justified converter upgrade? Emu to Apogee .

Quick overview of my setup:

Mics:
AKG 451-EB mics with CK1 caps (this is the best sound for me. I've tried nearly all versions of Neumanns, KM84, KM184, U89, Schoeps, etc.. nearly all high end mics and the vintage pair of AKG's are basically silky brightness, exactly what I need)

PREAMP:
Hamptone JFET

A/D Converter for MOTU 828mkII?

Hi everyone! I'm from Hong Kong and new to be here.

I have a MOTU 828mkII and want to find an A/D converter to add 8 more analog I/Os for it. For the all these analog I/Os (including the analog I/Os on the 828mkII itself), I will connect them with modules and synth. I have a Digi001 as well for vocal and instrument tracking (guitar, bass...etc).
