Asus P4P800 SE
Intel Pentium 4 3000 Hyper Threading with 1 MB Cache (Prescott)
with a CPU Temperature about 48C / 118F
Kingston 512MB DDR ECC -> error correction

With the Hyper Threading ON, i have problems on Cubase like:

Just purchased on 01v online and was looking for a information on how to setup within Cubase for audiovst recording playback. I have a RME 96/52 card in my machine with the INOUTS going correctly from the O1V into the 96/52.

I downloaded the MAC OSX free VST's

Put them in a folder and into the VST Plug in's section for Cubase

now Cubase crashes every time i try and start it

rebooted numerous times

HELP

I've got SX 2. Now all i need to know is how to use it efficiently. Anyone know where i could get some helpful tutorials on how to use Cubase? Thank you in advance.

Hi all - just wandered across from the guitar forums...

I have a P4 2Ghz running 2K and Cubase SX. Performance is stunning and I am really getting to grips with Cubase having been a die hard Logic head (till they ditched PC support - anyway).

I've just gotten my new eBay Roland VM-3100 digital and RPC pci card (by m-audio) together and more or less running on my Mac G4, OS9. It's been a pretty steep climb for me. But I've discovered that I don't much care for the Emagic logic/rpc software that came with the package and I want to return to using Cubase VST/24.

Just wondering what's used (hardware that is) to record 5.1/5.2 surround using SX? Mainly, I'm seeking info on what type of mixer, the best, or better yet, decent monitors & any additional processing that's used to get this started.

prob a stupid question, how do you get rid of all the unwanted audio, i get mixed up and delete the wrong files

I'm wondering if there are any digial artifacts that are added or compression or the like when you do an audio mix down in Cubase .

I'm getting my stuff ready for vinyl, the track is complete in Cubase and now i have to do a mix down . I used to be an old gear head and sequenced externally so this is my firt new song on this crazy computer machine. .
