Hi all, ive got pt 002r and command 8, ive just purchased a midi contoller (a small edirol or something) anyway in le 6.4 i can get the meters working on the midi channel but cant get any sound coming out of the speakers. ive got the midi out, in the midi in on the C8.Now i wanted to use sampletank as a plugin .

someone please help me. ive read that in order for cakewalk and my triton to be on the same page, i need to add a ins. (instrument) file for my triton to cakewalk? well, i went to tritonhaven, since google sent me there, and i downloaded mostly all of the ins.

is it technically possible to chain up a couple of digi002s so that pro tools can get 16 ins...

I have a 002R that I want to add 8 more inputs to via ADAT optical. Would I get better sounding AD conversion with a Digimax (or Octopre), or with a ADA8000 and an Apogee (either Big Ben or Rossetta200) as the master word clock. I will just be using the line inputs so the quality of the mic preamps shouldn't be an issue.

In the thread "Pro Tools & reasons I hate Digidesign," Kurt mentioned that there is a way to record up to 18 tracks using Digidesign LE 002. Is this possible? There are only 8 in's, how can you get up to 18? Or am I mistaken?

Hey everyone, just need some expertise. Ok heres the breakdown. I am buying Pro Tools 6.7 along with the Digi 002 w/ factory bundle. I am getting a Sony Vaio PC. Can someone help me out in telling me all the exact specs i will need out of this PC to recieve great speed and quality of recording. such as the I334 port and firewire ports and memory and all that good stuff.

i noticed that the digi 002 only has four mic ins (preamps) so what do i do if i need 6 like if i am Micing drums. what kind of extra preamps can i buy that i can ad to Pro Tools that are compatible with the digi 002

from experience help me out people. lol. I am into rock music and want to get high quality recording. Digi 002 with Pro Tools or Mackie universal/onyx w/ sonar. I will be using highly equipped new PC for strictly recording. and what kind of preamps (with a nice price) can you ad to the digi 002 since it only has 4 and I may need from 6-8 when recording drums. Hi gang--great forum! I am building a PC with and am trying to decide what I should get in terms of recording programs/interfaces. The computer is all up to par as far as specs go...AMD processor, low latency 1 gig ram, separate 250 gig hard drive, etc.

I recently made the switch from pc to mac. I was running my pc based around a 002/Glpyh GT050 firewire drive. I was able to transfer, playback and record from the drive with no problems.
