-8 to -3db for kick drums (mix to master)
Hi everybody! I'm new here, but producing music is my life (I'm only 21 now) and I have been reading EVERYthing about the subject for the last 4 years. I absolutely LOVE compression, ENDLESS eq, and volume balancing, and basically every technical tidbit I can get my hands on... yes, this is my whole world, and yes, I think of everything I ever hear in terms of frequencies.

posted this on the drums forum, but thought i'd try here too
Hey guys, i'm looking to start up some home recording space, however i need some gear suggestions.
i spend 2 much time searching for nice drums- drum modules?
(Hip hop)
i realised when i make beats with an artist i always a) have trouble finding nice drums or b) spend time EQing them while I'm making the track. The point I'm trying to make is- it wastes a lot of time (creative time).
Live drums on your recordings!
Hi!
My name is Micke, I am a drummer and I also own a studio. I would like to help you by adding well recorded drums to your songs. I will do it for free as long it's a demo or no budget involved. Mainly I do this because I think it's a nice way to meet new people in the world of music.

2-channel mic preamp on drums?
What seems more useful: using the two channels on overheads or on the bass + snare?
Thanks

settings of powerdrums (audition 1.5) to adobe soundbooth
Hello,
I am a radiuomaker from the Netherlands. For years I've been using my Adobe Audition 1.5 for mastering my endmixes. I always use the setting "powerdums" under "effects" - "amplitude" - "dynamics processing".

Recording Electronic Drums (Midi question I think)
So I decided that I want to record all my drums using an electric kit. I also want to build my own out of Remo practice pads and piezo transducers connected to 1/4 female jacks.
