Hi guys, I've got another broken headphones this weekend.
I've decide to go for cheaper units but still want some isolation.
At this point, I don't care about frequencies and how good they sound. I just need to put a loud click in them and isolate the drummers ear so they don't hang themself out of ear fatigue.

I am using Scarlett 18i20 into an OctoPre MK II and other stuff (see my profile) but my question is: I had a little session the other day that drove me nuts and I need to get reverb into my session without going through the DAW for latency issues. As you all know people don't like the sounds of their own voices without FX.

How much does headphone bleed concern you?

A folk group I was mixing months back had an upper freq problem that drove me nuts. After listening for hours, trying to de-ess but at the same time trouble shoot for the sake of "next time they go into the studio!" it will be better than this mess!

I hv krk monitor in my acoustically treated room for mixing and mastering, no issue, but I am shifting to some other place for few months and I wanna continue my mixing and mastering but can't take setup along with me, so
is it possible to mix and master via headphone? I wanna do perfect mix n master which sounds perfect in any device.

Recently my Shure srh940 broke and I've started to look up some new headphones to mix and master with in my home studio.
I've decided to go with the AKG k702 but I saw that a lot of people said they need a good amplifier with them to really use them to they're full potential.

They're here and they're on my head. They sound nice and flat. Boy, they're hot on my ears. That will remind me to take regular breaks, if only to cool down. I'm trying out different reference mixes I'm familiar with to get used to them.
