Ebtech Hum Eliminator
Do you use this, seen how it works? I have a regular stereo receiver running the sound on my mixer. Could I put this piece between my main outs on the mixer and the input on the receiver and get rid of that annoying his I hear when I turn the receiver volume up past 30. I haven't yet tested to see if in fact this noise is recorded onto my tracks, but I wouldn't be suprised if it was.

Hum!
I get a hum from my SB Live 5.1 card that goes away when I unplug my Q10? But no hum from the Q10 alone. And no hum from the SB solo.
I've tried different connections and cables and nothing solves the problem.
This only when monitoring, which is all I use the SB for.
Any one run into this before?

ho hum!
My guitar p/ups have suddenly developed a hum now that i'm employing a DAW to record. Even in humbucking mode there's a noticeable buzz. Not sure which component is the culprit but surely it couldn't be my ANUS! Using a CRT monitor though.

hum/noise from soundcard
I am going out of my mind! Can anyone help me out here?
I'm recording into a PC using a SoundBlaster Audigy card which is SUPPOSED to have a SNR of
-100db. (Yeah, RIGHT.) However, there is about -60db of noise. It's ridiculous. Even if I have nothing going into the soundcard's line in... Noise! White, pink and brown... It's all there. Along with a hearty dose of 60 cycle.

Hum eliminators affect signal?
Anyone here ever used a hum eliminator in their critical signal chains? I'm using a RODE NTK mic going into an unbalanced preamp and I'm getting buzz like crazy. I put a ground lifter on the NTK's power supply and 50% went away. There is still an annoying amount left... And moving equipment doesn't really adjust it much.

I keep getting this damn humming noise. Por Favor
I've got this sick discusting ass hum coming from my computer. I hear it in my headphones. I hear it when trying to sample sounds from my computer...and most importantly and most aggravating...i hear it in my damn recordings. My mic picks it up..i pick it up! I don't want Def Jam or J Records to hear that sh*t. I'll probably need to carry by arse on to a real studio but help me out anyway.
Ho Hum AD/DA Questions Genex? Any reviews? Opinions
Hi.Doing the rounds surveying gear etc to set up my own tracking studio. Just wondering. I've not come across any reviews of these units, they seem really well built. Although they're not purple
guitar hum
ok, so i was playing around with some guitar and bass sounds. when i pluged into my Lexicon signature 284 tube ampy thing, all was well and good but the direct tone wasn't rockin' it for me [bitching as an actual amp, though...]

NR-eliminating hum?
OK, I'll try again in a new post.
Any tips for reducing hum? I have a couple of old cassettes with bad hum on them, but this seems to be something at which SF-NR doesn't do a very good job.
thanks
