Can I attach this mic to my laptop?
Hi.
I have been looking around for a mic to plug into my laptop for some basic recording. I am looking at an SP B1 at the moment. However, my problem is, I assume that the mic has one of those big plugs where my laptop only has a small input. Is there some way I could plug this into my laptop?
Thanks.

Laptops and Pentium Processors for on-site recording
Hello,
Converters and Laptop interface
Until now, I have been tracking to a Mackie hard disk recorder (SDR) and then dumping all the tracks onto my computer for editing/mixing, but I have decided that this process is too inefficient and am going to sell the recorder and record straight to the computer. So now i need an audio interface, but I'm having problems finding any that will suit my needs and price range.

Pentium-M vs. . Pentium 4 laptop: anyone playing softsynths?
I'm about to pop for a new laptop and USB interface, and want to be able to play Reason synths live with MIDI. A 2.8GHz Pentium 4 is plenty fast but runs hot and has a short battery life (1.5 hrs or so). A 1.7 GHz Pentium M is about as fast for business apps, runs cooler and claims 3-5hr battery.
