Looking for live gig recording upgrade
So my current set-up is:
Behringer c2s (sorry) > Behr Mixer > MiniDisc
What we get out of it is crap, but it is reference for us to look back at our gigs and examine what we did wrong/right.

Hi, this is my first post. I've been reading for a while and finally decided to jump in. I'm looking for helpful hints and/or suggestions on how to mic a choral concert I'll be recording.

Live Monitors
hey everyone,
My band is looking to play the samples we have on our recordings during our live show. The only problem is. if the sample comes in mid song... we are playing so off time of the sample.

Live Recording Newbie, where do I put the mics?
Hello:
My church group will be playing at a college gym with 1000+ people in attendance. I would like to get a "good" recording of our performances but have limited equipment and an even more limited budget. I have 2 Beheringer C-2 Condensor mics, and Alesis 8 track mixer and my laptop with firewire interface box running cubase.
some tips on how to mix live drums tracks
hello. Having used drums samples and loops so far, now i am diving into a project where i have to mix real live drums recorded in a studio. The separate tracks comprise. as usual, snare, kick, toms, hihat, n.2 OH, and Figure-eight takes. Before getting into an uncontrollable mess, does anybody have some tips on how to start with it?

help me choose live sound recorder
Hi Everyone -
What I'm looking for is a digital version of a four (or six) track recorder for live situations. I'll do all the editing and mixing on my computer, so it needs to have a fairly efficient way of dumping data into a PC. I don't need to use the recorder as a mixing or editing station so I don't care about those functions.

Recording Live Sound on Alesis HD24...
Hello!
It's been a long time since I've posted! That is a good thing though as many of our problems were corrected by the great info I received here!
Now though..we have another issue!

Live show surface solutions
It's time to address the problem with setting up gear for shows. Until now, we've always relied on whatever was available at a venue-a table, some chairs, that box, the floor. Not safe and definitely not fun. I can't count how many times I've had to play on little tables that don't even come up to my waist. 45 minutes of that is murder on your back. We need to solve this issue.

Roland VG99 x Pod Xt Pro/Live x Amp Farm
--
Hi,
Has anyone had the opportunity to test the VG99 against the Pod Xt Pro?
Certainly VG99 has much more editable parameter data, creation of models and so. But what about "tone" quality?
