I'm guessing its all the same with the levels you want however, I thought to ask anyway or see what your thoughts are, results differences you see or what this topic invites in general with mixes coming from analog summing systems?

hello pple,pls i need someone to help me on my mastering software,i presently use Cubase for my recording,moving to Pro Tools soon, then,i want to know how to get my volume to commercial CD level using limiter,i dnt just get it

Im sorry if I'm in wrong section but i was wondering why do mastering engineers offer CD replication? Can't i just duplicate my mastered CD at home?

Hello, folks. I am mixing, effecting, equing, mastering, etc, etc a documentary feature that someone I know asked me to work on. Although I have mixed and mastered many projects before - songs, short and feature films, etc - this is actually one of the first times someone's actually offered to PAY me for it. They don't know what to pay me, and I don't know what to charge them.
