Main Vocals... Stereo or Mono? URGENT HELP NEEDED! THANKS :)
Hey guys, noobie here...and noobie question for you.
Should main vocals be stereo or mono in a mix? My voice sounds so much better when it is in stereo...especially with headphones. but when I play the song on speakers, my voice sounds a little hollow. What do you guys suggest?
Is it a problem with my reverb or do I have to make it mono?
Tracking in Mono
I've a small problem I've been trying to sort out. A mate of mine has a 96i with his pro tools system. When were tracking we only have one mix and can only listen to wat the musician is listening to. This is really annoying especially with a click involved. I've tried to set up a seperate feed out the SPDIF but its a mirror of the 1-2 outs.

Stereo/Mono Guitar Rig Routing Question
I have a guitar rig that I use in various situations. It consists of a Pod Pro with a Lexicon MPX1 in the effects loop. I use this rig in both stereo and mono applications. It is set up for stereo, but I'd like a way to sum the outputs of the Pod for use in mono (into the pwr amp in of a tube combo). I'm hoping for some input on the following options:

A Presto 6N and a mono Grampian plus a box (25) 7" disc
My Objectives:
1. To get an idea of what I have.
2. To get a FAIR price for what I have.
3. To have it be used.
4. To keep it in this country so that others may use it.
You folks seem to be in the know about this stuff. Any help will be appreciated.

Acoustic Guitar, Stereo or Mono?
Since an acoustic guitar is a single sound source, does recording in stereo sound realistic? I was doing an A/B with my song recorded with 2 mics, and the acoustic version of Dave Matthews' "Gravedigger" in which the guitar sounds great, but seems to be in mono.
