Thanks for the response to my previous post everyone. It looks like I will be diving in with the Paris Pro (after some rather lengthy deliberations!). In doing so, I was wondering if anyone could comment on the following:

1. In order to sync to an outboard drum machine or a Korg Triton, will I require the STC pro timecode interface module?

I must say that this forum is certainly easier to navigate than the Paris users forum (I can't seem to access the newsgroup or search functions!) and I certainly appreciate much of the information that has been given thus far.

now, let me explain. i have a small little get-up that my friends and i make our music with- all tracking goes through my mics through either an ART prochannel or a p.o.s. Alesis studio 32 into a MOTU 1296 (which sounds infinitely better than my original 2408, i have found). We usually track only one or two tracks at a time, save drums (2-8) .
