(supposed "JapaNeve" pre's from the Yamaha PM1000 consoles)

was just wondering if anyone could recommend to me any hi quality drum sample packages to use in my home studio? I'm runnin a mac g4 with Pro Tools, looking for something a bit vintage and organic sounding as I'd also like to use it as a backing track to help improve my bass playing!

anybody know anything about these? My budy just grabbed one off of ebay... It looks like a pretty neat little machine, worth the $300 or so that he paid for the mixer alone.

We will likely be mixing in N Track, and only using the Tascam to record.

hey guys... i recently managed to pick up a UREI 7510b 'auto mic mixer' nice and cheap (i'm talking cheaper than the price of the smallest Behringer mixer!) with twelve preamps and direct outs. i think it was designed for conferences and chuches as a mixer but has anyone used one of these for tracking anything... if so ... what?

I have a laptop with which I use Cubasis VST with, and I have a Tascam US-122 and a Behringer 12 channel/4 preamped input mixer, and a couple AKG hyper cardoids and a mxl condenser and some dynamic mics, ive done a couple demo projects with my band, but i cant seem to get a rid of the live sound of my drum set

I've seen the discussio n about piano recordings and i happen to have piano recording session tomorrow, so, i'd like to hear your ideas please,

I'm considering this mic for recording acoustic guitar and would appreciate hearing about anyone's experience with it. How does it compare to other budget small condensers, like the mxl 603, or the Oktava MC012?
