Pro Tools Graveyard

I have a pro tools mix plus system ( 888 24 ) sitting around collecting dust and taking up rack space. Its unplugged, and used for hype. "yes I have Pro Tools"

What should I do with the 888 24 or any of the cards ? Keep it or put it into the dumpster?

Is there anything salvageable?

What are we going to do with all the vintage Pro Tools?

12 min - 16 max simultaneous analog inputs to pro tools question...

Ok guys, I tried a seach but came up empty. Here goes...

without all the why questions... how do i run 12-16 simultaneous analog inputs into a pro tools tracking session without buying a unobtainable board?

With cubase, I just run everyone through my Tascam US1641 and it works like a charm.

Superior Drummer 2 and Pro Tools track routing - Help!

For the life of me I cannot get my output tracks from SD2 onto individual instrument audio tracks in PT LE 7.4. I have a midi track with note info routed to SD2 on an audio track, which I can monitor. Problem is, I am trying to route each instrument, eg. bass drum, snare, etc to a separate track and it is not working.

M box 2, pro tools LE 8, budget pc build. ?

Hi every one, I'm new here and new to recording. I'm looking into building a PC (actually, I wouldn't be the one building it) and was hoping for some input. I have a small room that I intend on turning into a budget home studio. I'd like to use the M box 2, pro tools LE 8 with windows 7 or xp.

Pro Tools vs PreSonus vs Cubase!

So I'm trying to buy my first recording set up! Originally I was set on Pro Tools, but now the more i look into everything, I'm not sure if Pro Tools is for sure the way I want to go (Mainly due to Hardware Limitations). This is my first DAW other than garage band, so simplicity and user friendly interfaces would be nice.
