DRUM RECORDING, WHERE DO I BEGIN?

i need some help. we have no idea how to record our drum set. we have experience with recording guitar and vocals, but not the drums we just got. here is our setup: 5 piece set(standard) hi-hat and crash. we record acoustic guitar and vocals thru M-audio firewire solo recording interface. the guitar is recorded a Behringer b-5 condenser "pencil" mic.

Attention: Stickers..regarding drum recording

Hey Stickers,

sorry for this informal way of contacting you, I tried PM'ing you, but it wouldnt let me. .quick question for you, ...what preamps do you use on the drums.

Right now, I'm using the 4 Pre's that are built into the Digi 002...1 for my OH# 1, the 2nd for my OH#2, the 3rd for my Kick drum, and 4th for my snare.

Recording drums with 2 mics

I'm starting to record drums with two mics tomorrow (one dynamic above toms and snare and one condensor in front of the kit, I'm cheap like that). I was wondering if anyone has done this before and if anyone has any suggestions about the best way to EQ a single stereo track with all the drums in it. I'm trying to get it to sound fairly decent.
