SONAR RME Audio Digi96/8 pad, reducing latency

Hi, Im not so new to the world of recording but relatively new to recording using a PC.

Im using a 2GHz Celeron with 512 MBs RAM kitted out with a RME Audio DIGI 96/8 PAD card (and a SBLive 5.1 gamer which I run all the system sound through).

Im using Sonar 2.2 XL and ASIO drivers (as SONAR has issues using WMD with the RME audio card)

RME Hammerfall 9652 and Logic 6

Any of you guys used this combination?
I'm having trouble with mine. The card has 26 in's and out's (3 ADATS and a SDIF) which appear fine in CoreAudio's driver and in Logic Setup Assistant but then when I open Logic (Platinum) I can only choose from inputs 1-12. This is a bitch cos I've got a Mackie 24-track and having to re-configure to get stuff in is a real pain!

24 Channels of ADAT - RME only?

Does anyone have any knowledge of another product for my system that can provide 24 channels of ADAT i/o other than the RME Hammerfall products? I also would like to have Word Clock connections.

There is nothing wrong with the RME, and will probably be picking one up in the next week or two, just checking in case I have missed something else that I should be looking at.

RME Multiface question...

Hi there,
Glad I found this place, by the way. Lots of good information.
I am putting together a rig that will be portable and I need 16 analog I/O at 24/96. I have been looking at the RME stuff and am pretty impressed. I am wondering if anyone out there in DAW land uses two multifaces in a single computer.
Are there any issues you have had to overcome?
