Wind Ensemble and Strings in a Classroom. Help
Hi,
PA for classroom?
Let's say I teach 7th grade music class... and I want to get a speaker system for our create-a-song project.
I want to have a PA that can run vocals, guitar, bass, and a keyboard or two. I could probably get by with 4 channels, but 8 would probably be better.

i'm lookin to get an abient roomy bass gtr sound
i've got some condensers and dynamics, i'm generally a mic the cab up close kinda guy, but i want a amb sound for this session i'm workin on, and i don't want to use fake reverb.
its for a fast punk style sound, i'll prob still close mic it though, but i want to be able to choose what i want, when i mix it.
Roomy drum tracks
I have some really roomy drum tracks that I am unfortunately stuck with.
I was wondering what I could do in the DAW to remedy this?
I canned the room mic, brought the OHs down a bit, chopped the tom tracks to eliminate bleed, and tried some compression - Still no luck.

Headphone amp, should be in tracking or control room?
As different vocalist needs different headphone volume/reverb while tracking,
are these parameter can be changed by the vocalist in tracking room by putting some gears(like headphone amp, mixer...) in it?
Or these should be controlled by the engineer in control room?
If by the vocalist,
what equipment should I need to do this purpose?
Insolating a room
I was woundering if you guys had any tips on insolating a room? It would be in a home for vocal's and electric guitar. Again, it's in my home so it's not really made for recording.
What is the size of room that's tot small or too big?
I would be using a Nuemann U57, and it would be pop rock kind of sound.
Thank you very much.

Creating spacey feel in a small room..
Hey everyone,
I'm mostly a sort of bedroom studio for learning but have come across a song which I thought would be nice for me to try and replicate for a mix.

Room Ratios in an Asymmetrical Room
I'm new, here. And, yes, I've read the post with guidelines so as not to waste your time, which I am all in favor of. Can't seem to find anyone who's had exactly my question.
I live in Berkeley, Ca.

Drums in a . the only room available
Does anyone have any general tips on what is the basis of a good drum room for a loud as . . drummer?
forever and longer ive only had the displeasure of having one m audio nova to hang above the drum kit and run it thru a PreSonus tube pre, thus my drum recordings cost 200$ (minus the kit..).

Room Sampling For Convolution Reverb
can someone please go over the process of sampling a room to use in a reverb program like WavesIR-1? Step by step, maybe?
