small mixer electronic drums + guitar
Hello,
Here is the situation: I have a electronic drumkit and an electric guitar. I am looking for a mixer that will allow me to play with my flatmate without bothering our neighboors. All I need is essencially to send in the two signals from the guitar and the drumkit and have two headphones outputs (or one that I can split).
Any suggestion about what I should buy?

Small Monitors
Can anyone recommend a very small monitor system (preferably without a sub) that I can use for low-level mixing in my condo? It is an apartment-style setup and if I bring my big (6") monitors home the whole building will get mad at me!

Minimizing background noise in small studio
I'm running a vs2480 24 track recording digital work station. I'm running this in a 12 x 12 room. I'm trying to record acoustic guitar using the following:
AKG C414 XL II Mic using a Cardioid pattern with a DB setting of -18 and Hz of 160
RODE NT 4 Stereo mic with no settings.

Ideal mic for small body Martin guitar/
My set up is this... Mac computer/Garageband, M-Audio MK2 Fast Track, Martin Guitar 000CXE which is a small body guitar. I have a low end dynamic Shure mic and a tube mic. Both of these have given me minimal results with much experimentation with mic placement etc. I have also tried blending the tube mic recording with the guitar directly plugged in to the interface. This sounds "ok".

Recommendations for recording a small youth choir
Our school has a vocally talented group of 8th graders. Their choir director would like to do a recording of the group before the school year ends that could be distributed to the families of the kids...not for sale, but for keepsake...although we'd still like to capture the best recording we can...Both the choir director and I are amateur at best, but we're both fairly technical people...
