Hi, I have a digi 001 project studio and have an opportunity to get a tasacm dat machine in exchange for some audio sevices. In what way can I use the dat. ( mixing etc.) is it worth it?. How are people using dat machines in their studio? Thanks for any info.

Thought I would try you to get some advice. My system is very, very unstable w/DP3. I cannot open DP3 without it crashing and freezing my Mac. I have been rebooting it endlessly. Do I need to trash some prefs? Do I need to move something around? 1024 of Ram. Where should I look for the problem. I have been on the ph w/MOTU 5 straight days since I bought it last weekend.

Looking for some feedback from user's using the US-428 with Athlon based DAW's with no problems. I'm looking to build a new athlon system based around the US-428 and was hoping to get some advice on motherboard selection ETC... If you can post your system spec's it would be a great help.

I am recording from an AKG 1000s microphone into a dbx preamp. Also using a Kurzwel K2500.

What setting are needed on the various inputs and outputs on the back of the dbx preamp. there is achoice of dbV and dBu (-10 and =4)

in particular,

1. What is needed on the input from the Kurzweil?

Any had a chance to check out the "all-in -one" SX-1?

Hope this belongs here? My appologies to all if it don't. Just purchased a use Tascam m512 console and need info on the routings of the taps on the back plane so I can route my signals where I want them to go. Too cheap to purchase the manuaa.
