Can't eliminate vocal buzzing

I've recorded our lead singer several times over the last month, trying to eliminate a "buzzing" sound. The buzz is only present when the track is exported to a wav file, then dropped on a CD for playback. I've recorded other voices and they don't "buzz" when dropped to a CD. I've tried adjusting the gain, different mics, different effects & settings, no effects. nothing helps.

vocal mix tips and tricks

i'm about to do a demo mix for a client i really, really want to get. his voice is great and vocals are well tracked, so how about some mixing tips and tricks to get a great and interesting vocal sound?

i'm using a digi 002 and i have the Wavesplatinum bundle, altiverb, the digi 002 bomb factory bundle and vocalign at my disposal, as well as a distressor outboard.

thoughts?

Rock vocal mic recommendation

I want to step up to a mic for about $1000-$2000. No more entry level large condenser mics. I want a keeper. I dont need all the patterns in my project studio, just for vocals. First thoughts are a Neumann TLM 193 or equivalent. I keep getting told just to buy a U87, but I cant seem to justify the expense if I dont have a use all of the mics patterns. Led Zeppelin/Zebra style vocals.

Looking for a Vocal Amp, wanting to buy this weekend

Well I'm new here, so excuse me if this has been asked before or I'm in the wrong forum. I tried using the search, yet i cant seem to search by topic only, leaving me with over 400 pages of results

So, i was eyeing the Alesis Sumo 300. Im looking to just use this for practicing, and maybe as a personal monitor for live performance.
