I am seeking to make my own vocal samples but wish to use different voices for different samples so I am looking for a "software" that can help with the tweaking of my voice, any links please? Thanks.

I have a session Tuesday for my final project. I am tracking on an SSL 4056 G+ console. I am tracking and mixing a metal band, what is the best Mic and Mic technique for recording vocals that will sing and scream? My Mic locker goes like this. AKG

How do you carry your voice like you hear from many of the top performers. Is there special exercises you do to get your voice to carry better. A lot of times I am in a setting where there are a lot of people around, so I don't get the practice of singing all out and so that might make me not get that strength in it.

My band is going up to http://www.studiometronome.com to record our drum tracks on an SSL... We're taking everything back to my house for overdubs.

Im looking for a effect i heard on the Clint Eastwood track by gorillaz...while the first rapper is doing his thing, his voice has an effect to it. It sound like a delay, but the voice seems to be coming from far, lagging, and reverbed,. its really hard to describe. its like on those horror films when spirits call out someones name.

I am recording voice only, one at a time. I am using a Tascam US-122 and Shure SM58 microphone (dynamic microphone). The signal is very low--setting the gain all the way up on the US-122l still results in a very soft recording. When I go to replay the recording, I still have to turn up the volume almost the entire way to hear it. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?
