Can my system handle a VSTi
Hi there, my system consists of a PreSonus Firebox, 3.2 GHZ, 1 GIG RAM, 40 and 200 gig hard drives. I was wondering if I can realistically use VSTi's on my system and get good results. I am using Cubase LE right now and I achieve pretty low latency when recording audio.
thanks
Mike

CPU overload on Cubase VST32?
I've just sold a G3 pismo powerbook, 400MHz 320 RAM. He's installed VST 32 but when he opens vst performance the overload light is flashing on and off. There is nothing at all happening, a couple of audio tracks, no plugins nothing. Any ideas on how I can help him rectify this?

I recently purchased a Tascam US-122 USB interface for my Toshiba M45 Laptop. SO far I have gotten everything running well except for one thing.

I
I have all of the audio set to use the US 122 including the midi.

Searching for a volunteer for trying out my VST plug
Howdy
I have developed a free VST plug with Synth Edit. :)
It only works in a window host. Like eg Cubase or Wavelab.
It is a Compressor - Equaliser kind of a plug. Called JP22. ;)
It's main purpose is not to prove that Jp22 was right in his
argumentation about dynamics. :)
I know some of you on this forum sometimes uses soft plugs.
Cubase & BFD (Vst Drums Instrumen)
i have installed BFD for anyone who familier with it.. which is greate.
but since i'v installed it any midi even i record is being recorded with delay .. the audio is fine, the midi plays ok .. but only when i record and then play it after ... the midi events in the list editor are delayed ... any idea about that?

Pro Tools and VST?
Hey there
This may be a really dumb question but I'm gonna ask anyway.
I'm a radio producer, and I use soundscape at the station; however, One of the other producers here uses Pro Tools and loves it. Well I've played with it and really like it too so I'm planning on getting a Digi 002 for my home studio.
