Please let's not get into the mac vs. PC debate again. There are pages and pages on this. If you want to read them, do a [[url=http://="http://www.recordin…"]search[/]="http://www.recordin…"]search[/]. Both are caable of providing great results. The best soundcards out there are Lynx and RME. A lot of people use M-Audio and E-mu is becoming popular lately. There are plenty of Echo users out there too. Mic pres are another subject you'd be better off using the seach feature for.

I see alot of people using Pro Tools as their choice for music software... why can't i see anyone mentioning cubase sx etc..?
Is there a reason why nobody seems to use cubase or most people seem to use Pro Tools?

Also.. why do people prefer Mac's to Windows
(I heard the views of disgruntled college teachers giving reasons.. but they were doing alot more grumbling and not alot of reason giving, but they seemed to mention these: )
Ease of use?
Windows bugering the signals about?
Both? Neither? Others?

Well i got the idea because everybody seems to be mentioning PT in the forums topics i've posted recently.. and until that thread i don't think i've seen a mention of cubase sx so i just though i'd check:)
