I create and audio mantage click on the CD tab and click on edit CD text. I enter titles for each song and the composer field. Then burn the disc, but nothing shows up in winamp or other players.

Any ideas?

Hi D,
Some/Most players don't display Cd text, including Windows media, Winamp, ect...
Windows Media Player, Winamp need to be connected to the internet to "lookup" song titles. I know your thinking, "But it's Printed on the CD", well it is, but the display function on these players is not designed to read this. Only look up titles on the web, which is bogus.

Get MusicMatch Jukebox...It's the Best audio player on the market, and you can get a free version too!!

The only players I have seen that will do this are car cd players, some home units and newer burners! I still write cd text to all my master cd's because it just doesn't hurt anything.
At some point someone will see your song titles and think...how cool, how did they do that??

Don't sweat it, it's just a minor thing.

PS: I have Wavelab and it is the Best bit of software you can buy. I have the Waves Gold Bundle with it too.....Truly Awesome. Can't live without it.

Here is the Wavelab Forum link, very good!!

*cough*Bloatware*cough*

"Hi, my name is MusicMatch, and I'm a Jukebox. I will also attempt to take over your computer and open myself when you want to burn a CD, encode an MP3 or even write a letter in MSWord!"

Bloatware...????
There is Not a single player out there that does half of what MMJ does.
I will ask what you use for "general" listening then? If configured correctly, Nothing takes over your computer or opens without you making it happen!!

I use NERO to burn all my cd's. It supports every aspect of burning, even Master Quality Audio burning. Something most programs can't spell! I also use a Yamaha F1 cd-rom, that works great for all things.

When using Wavelab, I just render the file and save to a folder. Then drag and drop into Nero, because WL doesn't support my burner. It's just easier this way.

BTW Falcon2, it's not really a "jukebox", as there is nowhere to insert a dollar!

I'd have to agree...

Ummm....Err.... What the **** are yout alking about?

I don't think anybody has mention even 1 DAW in this thread. I guess you could argue that Wavelab is a DAW. But since it is for mastering it can't be your only one.

Back to CD Text. How do I get my tracks online for winamp/media player to pick up?
