hey everyone,

I am in the market for a new higher end preamp (currently only Twin Track Pro and the Tascam FW-1884 on board pres).

I am looking at the ISA 428, and recently because of all the great feedback, the JML TMP8.

I like the 428 because of the A/D card I can get along w/ 4 great pres..giving me 8 extra inputs in addition to my current 8.

I like the JML because its 8 pres in itself, but then I would need to purchase a seperate A/D (Apogeerosetta most likely) and this option seems to be much more expensive.

I record rock music, thats why 8 preamps is appealing to me, and I'm tired of the crappy FW-1884 pres.

What do you all think is best for me? I look forward to the replies!
